House of Hergla.
These photos have been a source of inspiration for the design of our home.
Many of these elements will therefore soon be found in our home.
I bought a piece of land in Hergla. The land is less than 100 meters from the sea and Hergla is a beautiful coastal town of the Mediterranean.
A house under one roof for Femke & Nizar as well as for me. On top there will be two privately located apartments for AirBnB rental.
I designed the house myself and with that I can cross a wish off my bucket list.
We are currently awaiting approval from an archaeological team. Many Roman excavations are done in Hergla. For that reason you need an authorization to build.
However, the chance that something will be found in our land is small.
Our building plan has now been approved by the municipality of Hergla, so that's a good start!
We expect to be able to start building in the middle of this spring. According to our architect (he works with his own construction team) he needs about 8 months to build the house.
